Do you offer more than just Clarity training?

Yes! In addition to formal classroom training on Clarity, PPCG offers advisory services (pre-implementation planning and post-implementation health checks), expert implementation assistance on all Clarity modules, and development of custom portlets and reports.

How much of your business is related to helping Clarity customers?

All of it! 100% of PPCG’s revenue comes from helping Clarity customers get maximum value from their software investment. PPCG is not distracted by trying to maintain multiple consulting practices; instead, we have laser-like focus on a single set of customers: companies who have selected CA Clarity as their Project Portfolio Management and IT Governance solution.

PPCG is a Maryland Limited Liability Company with headquarters in West End, North Carolina.

Where are your Clarity resources located?

PPCG’s resources are strategically located throughout the United States in cities such as Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, and New York.

Do you maintain your own training facilities that customers can travel to?

No. All of PPCG’s classes are taught onsite at the customer’s location or at a public training facility. Our focus is on developing and delivering world-class Clarity instruction, not investing in facilities.

Do you offer public training?

If enough customers in a geographic area request public training, we will be happy to schedule a class. If you are interested in public training, please send an email to info@ppcg.net and let us know which classes you are interested in and how many participants there would be from your company.

What type of customized Clarity training do you offer?

PPCG can tailor the curriculum and materials to reflect the unique ways that you have chosen to configure and implement Clarity. For example, student exercises can be tailored to reflect real-world projects in your organization. Student handbooks can be tailored to reflect screen prints from your Clarity system. Quick Reference Guides can be tailored to support the business practices you are trying to enforce.

Why don’t you offer classes on topics such as Clarity Financials?

Some aspects of Clarity, such as Financials, are best taught using an expert mentoring and knowledge-transfer approach rather than a traditional classroom setting. Clients vary widely in how they implement Clarity Financials, and we have found that it’s better to tailor an agenda to the specific topics of interest to your organization. The delivery approach is to show you not only how a particular feature works, but also discuss the implementation ramifications.

Can we bring in one of your Clarity experts for an extended period of time?

Yes! Several clients have retained our Clarity experts for more than 6 months of continuous service. One client has had the same PPCG Consultant onsite for more than 3 years! PPCG resources can become an integral member of your PMO.

What type of custom reporting and portlet development services do you offer?

No custom report/portlet development project is too small or large. We have some clients who have been utilizing our Data Model & Reporting experts for more than 4 years, and other clients who come to us from time to time whenever they have a need for rapid delivery of a business requirement. In almost all cases, development of custom Clarity reports and portlets can be done offsite (with no travel expenses).

Are you a CA Clarity services partner?

Absolutely. PPCG has been a Clarity training and consulting partner since 2002, dating back to when Niku sold and supported the application.
